New lug fitted to the Bonneville frame today. The  lug is supplied as a fork. Once tacked in place, the forks are heated and gently tapped around the frame. This leaves a small gap which is filled with weld and the ground smooth. I was fortunate in having another frame with an intact lug to take the angle from. Frame has now been blasted & primed.
